Took a few new shots during a nice winter drive. All of the NASA stickers have been removed for now to start with a clean slate!

A great picture I found from the 2013 season, before all of the numbers and stickers!

  1. Camera: Canon EOS 7D
  2. Aperture: f/5.6
  3. Exposure: 1/250th
  4. Focal Length: 607mm

My best lap of the weekend at CMP, running a 1:56.8. Not great for TTE, but the best I could manage given traffic and my own braking troubles. It’s still an extremely fun track!

A shot from the sandy beaches of the CMP paddock. The weekend went okay, but I found the limit of my brake pads and used up most of the good tread left on my NT01s. I did manage to put down one respectable lap. Video to come shortly.

  3. Exposure: 1/10th

Not a lot has changed on the car since summer, but I’ve officially switched to NASA’s TTE instead of running in F. Basically, this means I can do a lot more fun stuff.

For now, I’ll just be running about 150 lbs lighter than I have earlier this year. I also put on another Si-VTEC front lip since I broke my last one, but that’s just for looks :)

Updates to come after this weekend.

  1. Camera: Canon EOS 20D
  2. Aperture: f/7.1
  3. Exposure: 1/50th

Packed up and ready to head to Carolina Motorsports Park today!

A great shot from the NASA Autobahn event in July. After a summer break, the Red RS will be back in action in November. Stay tuned!

Last weekend I traveled to Joliet, IL to run my second NASA TT weekend with Red RS on Autobahn South. Although I didn’t have any competition in my class (TTF), I feel like I learned the track decently well and did the car justice. My NT01s didn’t care for the track surface much, so I think Hoosiers would be in order for any future trips to Autobahn.

In between having a lot of fun instructing and watching my students progress, I managed to run my fastest time ever around Putnam Park! Won’t count for anything official, but it’s always nice to keep improving personal bests. Time was 1:24.70 on 225 Nitto NT01s.

Inside shot. The garages feature air line, power outlets, fans, fire extinguishers, awesome overhead lighting, and a super smooth and clean concrete floor. I could get used to this!
